Like every 4 years, the Route du Rhum is back!
Unmissable event for all lovers of the sea, and others too, the Route du Rhum will return to Saint Malo on November 6, 2022 .
For those new to sailing, the Route du Rhum is nothing other than a single-handed transatlantic race bringing together no less than 120 skippers. Starting from Pointe du Grouin in Cancale towards Pointe à Pitre in Guadeloupe.
With a past of sailors and privateers, the skippers from the region are well represented during the race. Do not hesitate to come and visit them at the departure village from 10/16/2022 (date to be confirmed). On the program for the three weekends before departure: immerse yourself in Guadloupéene culture, cod Accra, West Indian music and rum à Gogo. Meet these giants of the seas by browsing the pontoons and meeting the skippers, expand your collection of posters of these solitary sailors. And on D-day:meet at Pointe du Grouin to admire the start of this legendary race.
